SGS Mobile Plant & Vehicle glazing was set up in 2007 by Ian McNabb, after 12 years based at Auto Windscreens in Carlisle.

Very much a family run business, Ian and his son Gareth are both experienced fitters while the office and administration side is run by Ian’s wife Michelle.

SGS provides a mobile on site glazing service for all types of vehicles Ian says “We specialise in on site plant glazing and cut laminated glass on site at various locations.

We fit original parts to any type of Plant or Agricultural vehicles and fit all types of Car, Van & HGV glass.

SGS Mobile Plant & Vehicle carries out van conversion glass fitting. This involves cutting out the metal panel and fitting the glass into the vehicle.

We also provide windscreen stone chip repairs on site or in our workshop”. Ian adds “We have worked from home since we started trading but have recently moved into new premises.

Having a purpose built workshop enables us to carry out work in all weathers. With close access to shops and the town centre, customers can leave their vehicles with us and drop into town
